well folks it has finally happened. i'm in officially moved in and settled into my new home.

St. Louis is much different from TX:

1) it's not so freakin hot that ur already sweating as u walk from ur house to ur car in ur driveway

2) traffic takes about 5 mins. tops at prime rush hour time

3) people are MUCH more courteous on the roads. you can actually merge ANYTIME u want to...no need to cut ppl off or wait til the very end of the line to fit urself in...ppl actually let u IN
- exceptions:

mi dang ppl that like to run thru the empty turn lane to run a red light that has been red for a good 30 secs and the line of cars is about 3-4 cars deep

if it takes u longer than a half a second to move ur foot from the brake to the gas once the light turns green, someone will undoubtably honk the horn

ppl here like to SLAM on the brake rather than tap on the brake to slightly slow down while on the freeway (st. louis is definitely not the place for tailgaters)

4) all the services that r a pain in the butt to deal w/ in houston (i.e. emissions inspection, car service, airline check-in, etc) are actually very efficient and manageable. I went to get my insepction done and it's a drive thru thing..and their policy is if u wait longer than 30 mins. they take $10 off the $24 fee! Also I went to Honda to fix a headlight...in Houston they charge $97.00 just to talk to u...here the guy, Randy was his name, let me come in, even though they were booked solid w/ appts, looked at the problem, and even installed a new headlight (which I bought of course) for FREE. holy crap.

I'm not saying i like St. Louis more than Houston...but i could defintely get used to this kinda stuff. But it may be too soon to tell...I have yet to experience a St. Louis winter...I hear it's brutal...

i finally got my camera back...unfortunately he forgot the charger. but here are some pics.

yay i love pink!

at Forest Park (in front of the art museum)

haha yea not too many...ppl in St. Louis apparently can't take pics. most of the pics came out all blurry or w/ cut off heads...that and we didn't have much battery to take more. more pics to come.
